THE APE ESCAPE REDEMPTION What the hell was I thinking? What the hell was I thinking? Well a combination of watching Shawshank Redemption and playing some Ape Escape began a dangerous process in my poor little brain and this very bad picture hybrid of both came to life. Since I mentioned Ape Escape let me tell you about something that's been on my mind lately. I miss and don't have enough type of games that are just cute and innocent and pure entertainment. Recently I downloaded a ROM of a game I owned and played like crazy in the early 90's on my SNes called Spanky's Quest. This game is just adorable and such fun even now after so many years. Yea we do have games like Ape Escape and such but to me they just don't compare to a simple game like Spanky's Quest. Maybe I'm just being in a fanboy mode here but this is how I genuinely feel. From all the consoles I own at the moment I think the only one that provides me with that kind of entertainment is my Nintedo DS Lite. A game of Mario or Wario is just an amazing way to unwind and relax. Now mind you, I do not diss hardcore violent games. I play them. Right now I am finally getting through Black on my XBox (since I never could find time to play it and give it attention it deserves till now) and I'm loving it. However my point is after playing a little Spanky's Quest I am just nostalgic for fun challenging games that are just cute and completely relaxing. Make those for me developers and you shall have a steady loyal customer. Anywhoo that's it for now. Sorry bout the crappy drawing in the comic but I suck at drawing characters from that perspective (from the back sort of) Hope you found it amusing anyway. Quikhax
